Infant CPR & Choking Safety training is designed for parents, expecting parents, grandparents, babysitters, nannies, and other caregivers who want to feel more prepared to respond to an emergency involving an infant or child.
Sessions are intentionally small and hands-on, giving you time to practice skills, ask questions, and build confidence in a comfortable learning environment.
Training may include:
Infant and child CPR
Recognition of cardiac and breathing emergencies
Choking prevention and response
Hands-on skills practice with CPR manikins
Emergency-response steps
Guidance for parents and caregivers
Time for individual questions and practice
Pricing:
Starting at $175 for up to 2 participants.
Additional participants are $35 per person, with a maximum private class size of 6.
Length:
Approximately 2.5–3 hours.
Certification:
This family-focused course is designed primarily for education and preparedness and does not automatically include an AHA certification eCard. If certification is required for employment, school, or another professional requirement, an eligible AHA certification course should be selected instead.
Location:
Private training may be provided in your home or another approved location within the service area.
Best for:
Expecting parents, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, nannies, and family caregivers.
Travel within the standard service area is included. Extended travel, weekend, after-hours, and rush appointments may incur an additional fee. Any applicable fees will be disclosed before booking.
Workplace CPR:
Best for businesses, schools, childcare programs, community organizations, and teams who want group training at their location.
Workplace CPR training is designed for organizations that want convenient, hands-on CPR and safety education delivered at their location. Training can be tailored to the needs of your staff, workplace, and industry while maintaining the requirements of the course being taught.
This option is ideal for small businesses, childcare programs, schools, gyms, churches, healthcare-adjacent organizations, community groups, and other teams that want to strengthen emergency preparedness.
Training may include:
Adult, child, and/or infant CPR depending on course selection
AED use
Recognition of cardiac and breathing emergencies
Choking response
First Aid when included in the selected course
Hands-on skills practice
Scenario-based instruction
Team emergency response
Certification for qualifying AHA courses
Pricing:
Workplace training starts at $600 for up to 6 participants.
Additional participants are $90 per person, up to the current class-size limit.

Certification:

Healthcare BLS:
Best for healthcare professionals, nursing students, and individuals who need BLS certification.
Healthcare CPR/BLS training provides American Heart Association Basic Life Support instruction for nurses, nursing students, healthcare professionals, and others who require current BLS certification for school, clinical placement, or employment.
Training combines evidence-based instruction with hands-on practice so participants can demonstrate the skills required to respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies.

Relief of choking
Recognition of life-threatening emergencies

Private BLS training starts at $190 for up to 2 participants.
Additional participants are $80 per person, up to the current class-size limit.

Approximately 2.5–4 hours, depending on participant count, prior experience, skills practice, and completion of course requirements.
Certification:
Yes. Participants who successfully complete all required components of the applicable AHA BLS course receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard.
The applicable eCard fee is included in certification pricing.
