Clear expectations for a smoother experience.

These Terms & Conditions outline the use of our website, services, booking process, and policies so you know what to expect when working with A Touch of Nurture.

1. Use of Website

This website is owned and operated by A Touch of Nurture, LLC.

By accessing or using this website, submitting an inquiry, registering for a service, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional service-specific policies or agreements provided to you.

2. Services

A Touch of Nurture provides:

  • Postpartum and newborn support

  • CPR and safety education

  • Workplace CPR training

  • Healthcare CPR/BLS training

  • Related educational and supportive services

Specific services, pricing, availability, and package inclusions may vary and are described on the website, booking platform, or individual client agreement.

3. Educational and Supportive Nature of Services

Services provided by A Touch of Nurture are educational and supportive in nature.

Postpartum support is not intended to replace:

  • Medical diagnosis

  • Medical treatment

  • Emergency care

  • Pediatric care

  • Obstetric care

  • Mental health treatment

  • Specialized lactation care when referral is appropriate

Clients should contact their physician, pediatrician, midwife, lactation specialist, mental health professional, or other appropriate healthcare provider for medical concerns.

For emergencies, call 911 or seek emergency medical care.

4. Postpartum Support

Postpartum services may include:

  • Newborn care education

  • Feeding support within scope

  • Postpartum recovery support

  • Soothing and newborn-care techniques

  • Parent and caregiver education

  • Baby-related household support

  • Practical support during the transition home

  • Personalized care planning

Exact services are determined by the package selected and the client agreement.

A Touch of Nurture does not provide emergency medical care, diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment.

5. CPR & Safety Training

CPR and safety classes are educational and may include hands-on skills practice.

Certification is awarded only when:

  • The course selected is an eligible certification course

  • All required course components are completed

  • Skills requirements are successfully demonstrated

Participation in training does not guarantee a particular outcome in an emergency.

American Heart Association eCards are provided only for qualifying AHA certification courses when all requirements are successfully completed.

6. Booking & Payment

Postpartum services are booked through an inquiry and consultation process.

A signed agreement and required initial payment must be completed before a due date window or service package is officially reserved.

Unless otherwise stated in your agreement:

50% of the postpartum package total is due at booking.
The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the first scheduled postpartum visit.

CPR services may be paid through Squarespace, HoneyBook, or another designated booking or invoicing platform depending on the service.

Customized workplace or group CPR services may require a quote and invoice before booking is confirmed.

7. Due Date Windows

For postpartum services, an expected due date is used for planning purposes only.

Because birth timing is unpredictable, postpartum clients reserve a flexible due date window rather than exact visit dates before delivery.

Once baby arrives, visit scheduling is finalized based on:

  • Client needs

  • Recovery

  • Baby’s arrival

  • Provider availability

  • Previously agreed service terms

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that birth, recovery, illness, childcare needs, and family circumstances can be unpredictable.

Clients are asked to provide as much notice as possible when requesting a cancellation or schedule change.

Specific cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and missed-appointment terms are provided in your service agreement or booking confirmation.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

9. CPR Class Scheduling

CPR class duration, location, participant limits, materials, certification requirements, and pricing may vary by service.

Clients are responsible for arriving on time and completing all required class components.

Group pricing may vary based on:

  • Number of participants

  • Course type

  • Certification requirements

  • Travel

  • Scheduling needs

  • Additional requested services

10. Travel & Service Area

A Touch of Nurture primarily serves Sacramento and surrounding communities.

Travel outside the standard service area may be available and may require an additional fee.

Any applicable travel fee will be disclosed before booking is finalized.

11. Client Responsibility

Clients agree to provide accurate information and communicate relevant scheduling, safety, health, or service concerns that may affect the provision of services.

Clients remain responsible for following the recommendations and treatment plans of their own medical providers.

12. Communication

Communication related to postpartum care may include scheduling updates, newborn-care questions, feeding questions within scope, care coordination, and other support covered by the selected package.

Communication through text, email, or client portal is not intended for emergencies.

For urgent medical concerns, contact your medical provider or emergency services.
