Ideally, families should inquire during pregnancy so support can be reserved around the estimated due date window. Because babies do not always arrive on their exact due date, booking in advance allows for more flexibility and better availability.

A due date window is the flexible time period surrounding your estimated due date. Instead of booking care for one exact date, A Touch of Nurture reserves space around the time baby is expected to arrive. This allows for early delivery, late delivery, induction, scheduled C-section, or changes in hospital discharge timing.

If your baby is early or late:
Communication is key. You’ll keep A Touch of Nurture updated as your due date approaches, including any induction plans, scheduled C-section dates, early labor, delivery updates, or hospital discharge changes. Your due date window helps allow flexibility when the baby’s timing changes.

Feeding support is available within my professional scope, including basic education, positioning support, pumping/bottle guidance, and help with identifying when additional lactation or medical support may be needed.

Once my IBCLC certification is complete, services may expand to include more comprehensive lactation care.

At this time, services are focused on daytime and early evening support. Overnight care may be considered in the future.

Support is focused on parent and baby care. Light household support may be included when directly related to postpartum recovery or newborn care, such as bottle washing, pump part organization, baby laundry, nursery reset, or setting up a postpartum comfort station.

A Touch of Nurture does not provide deep cleaning, full housekeeping, or unrelated household management.

Yes, depending on availability. Families are encouraged to inquire during pregnancy, but postpartum inquiries may be accepted when space is available.

Your spot is reserved once your consultation is complete, your package is selected, your client agreement is signed, and your deposit is paid.
